Presenting Tickets for Entry

Please bring your tickets with you (on your phone is acceptable). If you lose or forget your tickets, or cannot access your phone before entry to the show, we will attempt to check our records to verify your purchase. There is no guarantee that we will have the ability to do this on the night. If we are able to access our online booking records to verify your ticket purchase, the ticket purchaser must be present and must be able to provide suitable photo ID (driver’s licence or passport).  If you cannot present your tickets and we are unable to verify your booking, you will be required to purchase tickets at the door – if we are able to accommodate you (subject to sell-outs and access to ticket processing).

No Recording or Flash Photography

No video or audio recording is permitted at our shows/events. No flash photography is permitted at any of our shows/events.

Performers may record their own performances.

Copyright

The copyright in each performance is held by the artist/s performing.  To discuss a request for distribution or reproduction rights, please contact us.

Our Photography at Events

At some shows, we may take photographs that may show sections of the audience, to share on social media and/or promote future shows. We do not publish audience faces without specific permission. If you do not want to be photographed at all, please advise the organiser on arrival and we will accommodate your request.

Content Warning for Public Shows

Our public shows consist of different comedians performing diverse comedic material. Comedy is not designed to offend, but some content may offend some audience members.  We select comedians based on their adherence to our professional standards, and the aim of comedy is to make as many people as possible in the audience laugh.  To paraphrase Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle, if you genuinely think we were aiming to offend you, you probably just misunderstood the joke.   Our ‘typical’ show may contain twenty seconds of ‘colourful language’ throughout a 90 minute show.  If there are words you cannot bear to hear, or cannot tolerate hearing in a particular order, then live comedy is probably not for you.

If you book us for a private gig, we will consult with you about show content.

Heckling & Talking

We request that all patrons respect the comedians and fellow audience members by not heckling or talking during the performance. Disruptive audience members will be ejected from the venue, with no refund.

No Guarantee of Particular Performers

We have a rotating roster of comedians and there is no guarantee that any particular comedian will be performing on any given night.

Promotional Free Tickets Terms & Conditions

We may occasionally have free tickets offered as door prizes or promotional giveaways at some of our shows.

Free Tickets Are Only Redeemable at Specified Venue

Unless advised otherwise in writing, tickets can only be redeemed for shows at the venue at which they were given. For example: if you receive tickets for one of our shows at The Bat & Ball Hotel, they are only redeemable for shows at The Bat & Ball Hotel, not at other venues.

Free Tickets Are Transferable to Other People

If you have been given free tickets for our shows, you are welcome to pass them on to friends or family to use, especially if you are unable to use them for the date/s specified.

Free Tickets Are for Specific Shows

We produce a wide range of different comedy shows, including 10 Comedians, Secret Comedy Club, 7 Comedians, Comedian of the Year, Comedy Dinner Shows, Comedy Harbour Cruises, Big Poppa Sean’s Comedy Quiz, Comedy Writing Games, The Complete Guide to the Internet, and more.

If we give away tickets at one of our shows, unless we advise otherwise in writing, those tickets are for promoting the next production of that show at that venue. So, for example, free tickets to a 10 Comedians show cannot be used for a 7 Comedians Show or a Secret Comedy Club show, and free tickets for a show at Bat & Ball Hotel cannot be used at Wyong Milk Factory or on our Harbour Cruise.

If you are unable to attend the specific show that you have won tickets to, please contact us and we may, at our sole discretion, transfer them to a subsequent production of the same show, or another show with a retail ticket price of equal or lesser value. We reserve the right to not do this for any reason, including sold-out shows, arrangements with the venue and other reasons.

Tickets Obtained Via Illegal Activity Are Void

Free tickets obtained via illegal activity are void, will not be accepted and will be reported to the Police.

Examples of illegal activity include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • theft (online or offline)

  • deception for financial gain (fraud)
  • making false statements

Free Tickets Not ‘Refundable’, Tradeable Nor Redeemable for Cash

Free tickets cannot be traded for a credit or partial credit toward our other shows.  Free tickets are not redeemable for cash.

Expiry Date of Free Tickets

Unless otherwise stated in writing with free tickets when they are issued, unused free tickets will expire 6 months from the date of original issue.
