Marayong Comedy Last Night
Comedy returned to the Brewhouse Marayong last night in our first show back for 2019.
Another brilliant crowd of comedy fans packed into the function room at Brewhouse Marayong for a great night of fun!
Steering the laughter ever-upwards all night was our popular MC, Christina Van Look. So many people commented to us after the show how much they loved Christina’s humour throughout the night!
Once Christina had the room filled with laughter, she brought on stage the low-energy / high-laughs of our deadpan doyen, David Poltorak.
In hilarious contrast to David’s stage calmness, the third funny person on stage for the night was the energetically entertaining Jenny Tian!
Next up was Sean Morahan who kept us laughing with the ‘advantages’ of living in Western Sydney versus Eastern Sydney (remember, what happens in McDonald’s car parks stays in McDonald’s car parks)!
Special guest comedian Andrew Hastings was our fifth funny person of the night and he engaged hilariously with some of the more vocal members of our audience!
Finishing off the first half of the show with a massive bang was the frenzied funster Dane Hiser!
Opening the second half with a solid ten minutes of laughs was the irrepressible and insightful Rob Andrews!
Following Rob, in her second hilarious performance with 10 Comedians was comedian Fiona Cox who comically explained why Australia really is the clever country!
Kermit the Frog sings a song that says ‘It’s not easy being green’ but Peter Green made everything look easy as he kept us all laughing….
Topping off an incredibly fun night for us was this very promising up-and-comer comedian, Peter Meisel! 🙂
Congratulations to Julie, who was drawn at the end of the night as the winner of two tickets to our next Comedy / Dinner Harbour Cruise
