Lovable Kiwi Comedian Te Rina Taite can feel herself becoming an Aussie. Can she stop the Aus-Mosis? Does she really want to?
About the Show
After 14 years in Australia, it’s possible Te Rina Taite might have been across the ditch too long: she has chosen AFL over rugby, Home and Away over Shortland Street. Will she cross the dark side and stop supporting the All Blacks?
Join Te Rina as she accepts that her Aus-Mosis is nearing completion!
Comedian Te Rina Taite hasn’t lived here long enough to have picked up the accent but she has been here long enough to learn what a goon bag is.
Despite her strong New Zealand roots (and twang), her love for the Aussiest of Australian things, like Aussie Rules, Budgie Smugglers and Home and Away, makes her nationality alliances a little less clear than when she was growing up.
Join Te Rina as she debates her allegiance, finds the fun in traditions and the importance of culture and asks if she could ever truly stop supporting the All Blacks.
