Rob is a Sydney-based comedian and aspiring Jonah Hill impersonator. Armed with his guitar and love for all things pop culture, no element of this manchild’s lifestyle is off limits.

After three decades of mistaking non-stop quoting of The Simpsons and Judd Apatow movies as comedy, Rob decided to adopt an alternative approach. He soon discovered his jokes were more widely appreciated when he told them over the same four chords and made them rhyme. At least some of the time.

Striving to be a musical comedian for people who don’t usually like musical comedy, Rob’s songs cover all manner of topics, whether it be family, romance, teapots or an unholy mix of all three.

Rob was a State finalist in the nation-wide Raw Comedy competition in 2020, but would say his greatest accolade is the comment left on his YouTube page by JustTheTip45:

“Jack Black’s ugly cousin is a lot funnier than I thought he would be”

Rob’s songs have reached international acclaim, to the extent that he met his long-term German partner after she discovered one of his songs online. And he is 85 percent sure that she is a real person and not an AI app.

Fresh from spamming his music all over Reddit during lockdown and being dubbed “Lord of the Neckbeards”, Rob returns to the stage with a voice so sweet, he’ll need to take another shot of insulin.

Rob would name and/or blame Bo Burnham, Louis CK and Jim Jefferies as just some of the many straight white blokes that have inspired him and his comedic attempts. None of them are yet to release a formal apology for this.

The best part about seeing Rob perform is that whether you’re there to laugh with him or at him, he’ll happily receive any attention you throw his way.
